The FemtoScan Software is able to work with many standard image file formats: Tiff (*.tif), Bitmap (*.bmp) and Jpeg (*.jpg, *.jpeg). The user can access and import the image files by clicking Open from the File item of the main software menu. If the image file contains the palette information, the palette indices will be converted to the height of the surface. If not, the height of the result surface will correspond to the image intensity.

In order to export the user's data as an image file please use subitem Export... from the File menu item. There is special feature Batch Export... to simplify the automatic export of large numbers of the image files.
