===== Dropdown menu =====

Some instruments on the [[панель_инструментов|Image toolbar]] are grouped into the small drop-down panels. These are the tools to select areas on the image surface [[selection|Selection]], to plot the cross sections [[sections|Sections]] and to select extended objects [[curve_selection|Curve selection]].

A dropdown tools are marked with the arrows in the right bottom corner of their icon. In order to see the dropdown menu press and hold the left mouse button for a short time. Duration is determined by adjusting the parameter in [[..:file:start|menu File]] -> Options -> **Dropdown toolbar delay**.
