The FemtoScan Software is able to work with many standard image file formats: Tiff (*.tif), Bitmap (*.bmp) and Jpeg (*.jpg, *.jpeg). The user can access and import the image files by clicking [[..:file:открыть|Open]] from the [[..:file:| File]] item of the main software menu. If the image file contains the palette information, the palette indices will be converted to the height of the surface. If not, the height of the result surface will correspond to the image intensity.   

In order to export the user's data as an image file please use subitem [[..:file:экспорт|Export...]] from the [[..:file:| File]] menu item. There is special feature [[..:file:групповой_экспорт|Batch Export...]] to simplify the automatic export of large numbers of the image files.
